Ok August is almost over and “The Babysitter” isn’t. I have made progress but there is still more to be done and it looks like work is gathering like dark storm clouds on the horizon.

Things are coming together nicely, I have what I think is a cool looking DVD cover, I have been having some success finding some very interesting music finally. I still have to fix a couple of things but despite not having access to the lead actress I think it will turn out ok.

Also a positive note about both “Babysitter” and “Roadkill” I have been in touch with both people who respectively have the Behind the Scenes footage for both projects and they are trying to get me copies. Fingers crossed!

Ok It is late and I am tired, hopefully I was mostly intelligible here. Lets see what happens this next week shall we?

Yeap, it’s that day again. The anniversary of my being unleashed upon the poor unsuspecting world. In about an hour and a half I will officially be 31. I will have served 31 years of my life sentence here on this planet.

Lets see… what news do I have…

Well not surprisingly I have been so busy this last couple of weeks that I have not made as much progress as I wanted to with “The Babysitter” I think that I will give myself at least another week or so before I feel too bad about it, I have made some progress and with the amount of work I had foisted on me I am surprised I got anything done at all. I am in fact going to get back to work on it in a few minutes, assuming everything works… I already tried to open Premier once this morning and it froze. My computer has been acting strangely again and it has me a little worried, it has not been switching off like it should and I keep coming back to it and finding it incredibly hot.

I have been wanting to buy some new computer equipment for a while but even if this computer dies once and for all that doesn’t magically make the money for a new one appear.

Anyway, I have stuff to do today, I need to try and get clarification on my work schedule because I was warned that there are three back to back jobs starting soon that will take me on the road until the beginning of October. That will undoubtedly interfere with things but I am still determined to finish as many video projects by the end of the year as possible. I think my new target for Babysitter will be by the end of the month come hell or high water.

Life has been at work, as per usual slowing things down in the World of Lost Gotham. Next week there will be a lot of work and ironically that is probably when I will get the most video work done. I have all of the files I need on the Laptop now for maximum portability, I may need to re-shoot some of the footage I have already re-shot to get better matching angles and I still need one other element (not including body double shots) but then It will just be a matter of me getting on and finishing it.

Death has been at work too, our websites were down for a couple of days another casualty of the current bank crisis fallout and more importantly the Great John Hughes became the Late-Great John Hughes.

In other news someone hacked my e-mail account and sent out junk mail to every one in my address book. Hopefully it won’t happen again. I should probably change my password just in case…
