Okay, so today I finished my script for “Script Frenzy” meaning I am two for two in my writing challenges!

That one small step for me on the creative road. each challenge that I take and meet is proof to myself that maybe I can be a writer. Now (well soon at least) I have to begin the process of re-drafting my novel for tentative self publication and submission to publishers (For immediate refusal and derision).

On Thursday I went to an immigration thing to get my finger prints and stuff done AGAIN, it was uneventful. I shall keep you apprised of the situation as per usual.

Okay that’s it for now, I have to update the main website soon with information about the new script but I am going to wait a few days first, so expect me to be back next week.

Sigh.

I don’t know how long I will be writing right now, I have stuff I really should be doing but I just felt like venting a moment… Today we went and saw KICKASS, which completely lived up to it’s name - I liked it a lot. I won’t go into details but it was good. it isn’t replacing any of my favorite movies but it is sharing a shelf with them. well it will be in a few months when it comes out on DVD.

That was the good part of my day… well other then the regular everyday family stuff. The rest is kind of… in the middle.

Some not good stuff happened for my eldest this morning, she was due to go on a sleep over and the other mom called up to say they had to cancel (at 6:58 this morning)

We went shopping for some stuff for my wife and ended up not getting anything for her but something (small) for me.

I came home to bid on an auction I had been watching for a week and finally placed a bid only to be outbid… so I bid several more times only to keep getting outbid and I ended up going over what I wanted to pay anyway so whatever, it obviously wasn’t meant to get it. (It was a lot of 4 tutorial DVD’s on sculpting and special effects btw)

Ok so that is it… there is other news too but I don’t want to jinx it.

I have been writing on my script for “script frenzy” and I am over half way at the half way mark so I am good. I want to try and finish early though. I will talk about it more when I am done (on or by April 30th)

Ok so this rant ended up being longer then I intended. next time people.

I don’t know which kind of day today is going to be yet… it’s only 8:15 in the morning and already there have been two negative things dragging it towards the negative…

My daughter called from school to ask if we were coming to her Honor Roll presentation this morning, to which I had to reply no because this is the first I am hearing of it.

Then just a few minutes later my phone rings again and it is the people about the late car payment… usually I don’t care - I take the call tell them we don’t have the money and that we will pay it ASAP, but lately and especially today I have gotten some of the most ignorant representatives. Or should I say “Ignant”… I explained to the woman this morning that we are waiting on some money but it is like three weeks late right now. She asked who/what it was that was messing us around and I said - my wife’s college money. To which she replies “Whatabouchu” (Translated into English - “What about you sir?”), she may have gone on to say something to the effect of “Where yo money at?” I may just be projecting but that was certainly her attitude.

The conversation ended with her asking if we were married or did we just live together and she really needed to talk to Angela then and blah blah blah. The whole thing just left me feeling sour.

Sigh.

Anyway I have to go I should be writing something else right now. I am going to try and turn today around in to a good day… I don’t even feel that optimistic about it to do that whole “there is no try” shit. I just have no energy. I am going to go and have breakfast and possibly some chocolate.
